Genetic — relating to genes or heredity.

Genealogy — the study of families, family history, and the tracing of their lineages.

Guidepost — a post bearing a sign that gives directions or shows the way.

This site is a repository of the last 40 plus years of genealogy research and my current research.  As the title suggests, this information can serve as a GuidePost using traditional and genetic testing.  My hope is that other Ralls/Ralls and Jernigan researchers will find the information useful and will help them in their genealogical journey.
